The inspired effort of Haviland third baseman Dylan Waters was not enough to prevent a loss, 5-4, to the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers. Waters went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. With the win, the Sunchasers are 45-88.

Sunrise Manor used the timely hitting of Nick Tumminia to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Sunchasers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Sunchasers manager Shawn Banks.
