The Riverside Wolverines routed the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes, 14-3, at Earthquakes Stadium. Mike Bolden was one of the hitting stars. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for Riverside. Eric Zane, who leads the SC in innings pitched with 171.0, was the winner. He's now 17-3. The loser was John Wicken. Riverside is now 89-44, 14½ games up in the Southern Conference West Division.

With Riverside leading 4-3 in the top of the fifth, Bolden hit a fastball from John Wicken for a 2-run home run. It was his 30th home run of the season and put the Wolverines ahead, 6-3.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Bolden said. "We did a good job of that today."
