Chuluota Absorbs 6-2 Loss to Biloxi
|
The Biloxi Jackpot defeated the Chuluota Imperials, 6-2. Catcher Adam Pelfrey deserved a large share of the credit. Pelfrey was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Jackpot. The Imperials, at 59-70, have lost 4 straight games.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Pelfrey hit a 2-run home run off Adam Coleman. It propelled the Jackpot into the lead, 3-1.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Pelfrey told the Biloxi Citizen.
