Sunchasers Take Tight Tangle
The Sunrise Manor Sunchasers turned back the Crystal Lake Killers, 14-13, at Field of the Sunchasers. Josh Pylant, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Rich Vega picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-5. Jim Unknown suffered the loss. Crystal Lake, at 61-69, has lost 4 straight.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 18-year old third baseman Jay Breece had a chance to be the hero. Crystal Lake pitcher Jim Unknown had other ideas. But with one out, Breece hit a sacrifice fly. The Sunchasers had themselves a dramatic win.
