Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers and Biloxi Jackpot.

A good performance from pinch hitter Andre Howard helped the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers defeat the Biloxi Jackpot, 6-4. Howard was 1-1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Sunchasers. Manny Flores, the winner, is now 7-5. He struck out 3 and walked 4 over 6 innings, while allowing 4 runs on 4 hits. Bobby Montijo picked up his 5th save of the season.

Sunrise Manor took a 5-3 lead on Howard's 13th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Jim Unknown in the top of the sixth, propelled Sunrise Manor to the win.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Howard.

The Sunchasers go to 60-71, putting them 5th in the Southern Conference East Division.
