Jimenez Helps Juneau Outscore Chuluota
The Juneau Sled Dogs welcomed the Chuluota Imperials to an night game at Sled Dogs Ballpark.

A 4-RBI performance from the 18-year old second baseman Gerardo Jimenez helped the Juneau Sled Dogs beat the Chuluota Imperials, 17-11. Juneau is 55-75 and Chuluota, with the loss, 40-90.

Ryan Hardeman found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Chuluota hurler Jim Unknown, the 18-year-old pinch hitter drew a walk, driving in 1 run. His 30th walk of the season put the Sled Dogs on top, 11-10.

"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Jimenez told the Juneau Times.
