With center fielder Jimmy Bowen leading the charge, the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers defeated the Chuluota Imperials, 12-7, at Imperials Ballpark. Bowen, who is tied for 6th in the SC in triples with 7, was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win went to Jake Falkenstein in relief, making him now 3-0. Namito Eda took the loss for Chuluota. Chuluota has now lost 9 in a row.

Sunrise Manor used the timely hitting of Ruben Gutierrez to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sunchasers on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
