The Sunrise Manor Sunchasers got a sterling performance from pitcher Sam Boyd, but the San Bernardino Flight still prevailed, 5-3. Boyd threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Alfredo Rivero, who is tied for 4th in the SC in wins with 11, was the winner. He's now 11-4. The loser was Sam Boyd. Alejandro Rivera earned his 4th save in 8 chances.

San Bernardino used the timely hitting of Pablo Gonzalez to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Flight on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I do my best to contribute," said Gonzalez.

San Bernardino now sits at 67-58, while Sunrise Manor falls to 66-59.
