A good performance from right fielder Chris Norwood helped the Juneau Sled Dogs defeat the Haviland Thrashers, 11-7. Norwood went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 for the Sled Dogs. Adrian Leal earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 5 runs on 6 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 6-5. The Sled Dogs now have a mark of 53-71.

Angel de la Cruz went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once against the Thrashers. In the top of the first inning, he reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, putting Juneau in front, 1-0.
