Pitcher Chris Schreurs was sensational for the Haviland Thrashers in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Chuluota Imperials. Schreurs earned the win. Schreurs, the winner, moves to 5-11. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 3 walks. The save went to Tony Wooten, number 12 for him.

The Thrashers got an important contribution from shortstop Ashton McSparin, who in the top of the fourth hit a first pitch fastball to right for a solo home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Thrashers ahead, 2-0.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Schreurs said after the game.

The third-place Thrashers bumped their record to 65-59.
