The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

The Haviland Thrashers did just enough to nip the Jacksonville Nationals, 5-4, in 12 innings. Haviland center fielder Eddie Bertetto, in particular, had a standout performance. The Thrashers, at 76-42, have now won 6 straight.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With no one out, Bertetto hit a fastball from Alex Arredondo for a solo home run. The Thrashers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Haviland manager Bill Mason.
