Behind a fine performance from Mike Gelardi, the Chuluota Imperials knocked off the Biloxi Jackpot, 6-5. Gelardi was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Imperials. Chuluota reliever Jose Chavez got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Jim Unknown was tagged with the loss. Jim Unknown earned the save for Chuluota, his 1st of the year.

Jason Grimsley, the Chuluota catcher, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the first inning to make the score 3-1, Imperials. For the game, Grimsley was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.
