Lopez Lifts Sled Dogs to 14-6 Win
Getting a good performance from designated hitter Korey Lopez, the Juneau Sled Dogs defeated the Jacksonville Nationals, 14-6. Lopez was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Sled Dogs. The win elevated the Sled Dogs to 77-42.

Luis Cabrera had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the fifth for Juneau. With the bases loaded and the Sled Dogs leading 3-2, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Cabrera. "You've got to get results."
