Sunrise Manor 3-1 Losers to Griffins
|
The San Antonio Griffins got a magnificent performance from pitcher Jorge Garcia, who muffled the Sunrise Manor offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Griffins win at Griffins Field. San Antonio reliever Jim Unknown snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Eddie Mojica shouldered the loss. With the win, the Griffins are 39-79.
San Antonio center fielder Leon Delgado helped the Griffins go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Delgado hit a run-scoring single off Sunrise Manor pitcher Eddie Mojica.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said San Antonio skipper James Beatty. "I can't complain."
