Howard Leads Killers to 4-0 Win Over Wolverines
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 18-year old first baseman Ross Howard, the Crystal Lake Killers defeated the Riverside Wolverines, 4-0. With the win, the Killers have a record of 72-44.

Crystal Lake took a 2-0 lead on Howard's 16th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Paul Pedley in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Crystal Lake to the win.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Riverside manager Matt Augustus.
