The home crowd had a good time watching the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers and Riverside Wolverines get after it.

Riverside Wolverines starter Tyler Layne pitched his team past the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 4-0. With the victory, the Wolverines upped their record to 62-54.

Mark Mauro helped out the Riverside cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 2.

"My job is to throw quality pitches, go as deep as I can, and give us an opportunity," said Layne.
