Thrashers Take Home 3-2 Win Over San Bernardino
|
The exploits of second baseman Manuel Jimenez helped the Haviland Thrashers defeat the San Bernardino Flight, 3-2. Jimenez went 1-2 with a home run. Haviland reliever Tyler Bourassa was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Leo Fonseca took the loss. The Thrashers have an impressive 76-39 record.
Justin Bobb, who is tied for 8th in the SC with a .306 batting average, helped out the Haviland cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Bobb after the game.
