A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Mark Stella, who is tied for 7th in the SC with a .645 slugging percentage, led the Riverside Wolverines to a win over the Biloxi Jackpot, 6-3. The Wolverines now have a mark of 75-38.

With Riverside leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Stella came up to bat against Biloxi pitcher Jim Autore. Stella hit a fastball to left for a solo home run. His 23rd home run of the season put the Wolverines on top, 3-1.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Stella told the Riverside Chronicle.
