Wolverines Rack Up 7-5 Win Versus Juneau
Riverside and Juneau duked it out and the Wolverines came out victorious.

The Riverside Wolverines beat the Juneau Sled Dogs, 7-5, at Wolverines Ballpark. Riverside catcher Dan Stainbrook had an outstanding performance. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Alex Galvan, now 7-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 1.2 innings.

Crossville, Alabama-born Billy Irwin came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Wolverines trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Riverside on top.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Stainbrook.

The win has Riverside at 44-67.
