Byrne Excels, Chuluota Blows Out Jacksonville
The Chuluota Imperials downed the Jacksonville Nationals, 13-1, at Imperials Ballpark. Adam Byrne led the way, going 3-for-4 for Chuluota. Damian Garriga earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4 innings. His record is now 10-4. The win elevated the Imperials to 61-51.

With Chuluota leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Byrne hit a fastball from Matt Lavender for a bases-clearing double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Imperials ahead, 4-0.

"I felt good up there," said Byrne. "I saw the ball well."
