The Buckeye Local Panthers earned a close win over the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes, thanks in part to Arturo Feliciano. The Buckeye Local right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the SC with a 9.3 K/9 rate, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Reliever Juan Salazar picked up the win. His record improves to 3-2. Jason Schneider took the loss. David Morris, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Aaron Richardson came through with a big-time hit for Buckeye Local. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Richardson attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."

The 5th-place Panthers have won 4 in a row.
