Panthers Get Extra-Inning, 2-1 Win
The Buckeye Local Panthers used a stellar performance from pitcher Brandon Fromel to throttle the Sunrise Manor offense en route to an extra-inning, 2-1 win at Cincinnati Grounds. Their 45-63 record puts the Panthers 5th in the Southern Conference East Division.

Kyle McCarthy played the role of hero for Buckeye Local. In the bottom of the 12th, he launched a solo home run off Ernesto Carlos to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.

"It was terrific getting this win," McCarthy said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
