Imperials Losing Streak at 13 After Extra-Inning Loss to Earthquakes
The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes handed the Chuluota Imperials an extra-inning, 6-2 defeat at Imperials Ballpark. Shortstop Chad Rodriguez starred for Ft. Wayne. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Chuluota is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 13 in a row.

Rodriguez had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a 1-2 changeup from Kyle Young, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Earthquakes a 3-2 lead. It was the 22nd double of the year for Rodriguez.

"This losing streak feels like riding on a runaway train," said Chuluota manager Larry Voltaire.
