The Chuluota Imperials overcame a pretty good performance by Sunrise Manor designated hitter Rich Kotlar, beating the Sunchasers, 12-5, at Field of the Sunchasers. Kotlar went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The victory gives Chuluota a record of 55-52.

Chuluota grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Richard Adelman delivered a 2-run single, to make it 6-4, in favor of the Imperials.

Adelman told the Chuluota Times: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
