Nationals Win Again, 3-1, Extend Streak to 6
|
In a low-scoring game between the Jacksonville Nationals and the Tulsa Captains, pitcher Josh Foreman was masterful on the mound. The Jacksonville right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-1 win. Matt Lavender earned the save for Jacksonville, his 11th of the year. The Nationals have now won 6 straight.
In the bottom of the third inning, third baseman Takenori Suyama had a 2-run double for Jacksonville. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Nationals on top, 3-1.
"Josh was pretty good at keeping their guys off-balance," said Jacksonville manager Zack Glomski.
