Godoy Homers Twice in 11-5 Win
The Chuluota Imperials powered past the San Bernardino Flight, 11-5, at Imperials Ballpark. Sal Godoy provided some of the pop. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Edgar Cuevas picked up the win in relief. Bill Castro took the loss for San Bernardino. The Imperials have an impressive 66-38 record.

The Flight had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Imperials going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old third baseman Dave Orosco came to the plate. Orosco hit a 2-run home run on a 2-2 slider from San Bernardino hurler Bill Castro. It was Orosco's 25th home run of the year.

"It's always extra special to win at home," said Godoy.
