Earthquakes Grind Out 2-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes and the Haviland Thrashers, 21-year old right-handed pitcher Angelo Quezada was the difference-maker. The Ft. Wayne right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Ft. Wayne is now 83-19.
Haviland had a runner on 1st in the top of the eighth. With one out, Evan McCulley came to bat, hoping to do some damage. Instead, he hit into a double play. The score remained 2-0, Ft. Wayne. The Thrashers saw their comeback bid fail.
