The Buckeye Local Panthers outlasted Angel de la Cruz and the Juneau Sled Dogs, 9-8. de la Cruz was impressive in the loss. The Juneau catcher was 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Panthers.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Buckeye Local. That's when Nick Gratta hit a solo home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Guerrero to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
