Riverside beat San Bernardino on the strength of starting pitcher Jaheim Jennings's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. Jennings, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 4 walks. The Wolverines lead the Southern Conference West Division by a game.

Riverside used a clutch hit from Kyle Himes to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wolverines ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Jaheim throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Riverside manager Chris Rauch.
