Wolverines Cantu Sizzles with Cycle
Some days, a great game just isn't enough.

Tony Cantu of the Riverside Wolverines found that out the hard way. Cantu had a great day at the plate, pounding out 4 hits in 5 at-bats and hitting for the cycle, but watched the Crystal Lake Killers win the game, 17-9.

"It is a frustrating feeling to know you did so much and still lost," the 19-year-old second baseman said later. "But it is a feeling you have to get used to if you want to play baseball for very long. It just happens."

Cantu had 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run, as well as 1 run batted in and 3 runs scored in the contest.

Tony Cantu doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Antonio Najera in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
