Koerner Blasts 3 Home Runs in 13-6 Earthquakes Win
Ft. Wayne catcher Curt Koerner had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Haviland Thrashers, 13-6. Ft. Wayne has now won 7 in a row.

The Earthquakes got a big hit from third baseman Troy Nelson. In the top of the sixth, Nelson smacked a grand slam home run off Haviland pitcher Jose Murillo. It was his 11th home run of the season. Suddenly, the Earthquakes were ahead, 9-6.

"I hopefully can keep it going and try to stay locked in as long as I can," said Koerner.
