A good performance from first baseman Korey Lopez helped the Juneau Sled Dogs defeat the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 7-0. Lopez was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Sled Dogs. The 5th-place Sunchasers dropped to 41-60.

Ryan Hardeman had a big 3-run home run for the Sled Dogs in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Juneau leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Asakichi Funaki, who is tied for 8th in the SC in innings pitched with 96.0, and swatted a home run to center. It was his 9th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sled Dogs ahead, 6-0.
