The Riverside Wolverines took Sunrise Manor pitcher Glenn Yarrington's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Field of the Sunchasers. The final score had Riverside getting past the Sunchasers, 5-3. Yarrington went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 4. Riverside reliever Andy Bennett picked up the win. Estevan Rios, who is tied for 6th in the SC in saves with 10, took the loss for Sunrise Manor. The win boosted Riverside to 64-34.

It could have been a different outcome for Riverside, had it not been for Liam Walters, the 22-year old first baseman . Walters contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Riverside up, 4-3.

"We came in and did what we needed to do," said Riverside manager Chris Rauch.
