DeRise Helps Ft. Wayne Cruise to 15-3 Win
The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes powered past the Crystal Lake Killers, 15-3, at Earthquakes Stadium. Michel DeRise hit 3 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored three times, to lead the charge. The Earthquakes improved to a lofty 74-22.

The Earthquakes got a gift in the bottom of the first inning, when they were leading 1-0. With two out and the bases loaded, Dean Wolf reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-0, Ft. Wayne.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said DeRise.
