Sunchasers Win, Sinclair scores 3 runs
|
Justin Sinclair left his imprint on the 10-5 Sunrise Manor win against the Biloxi Jackpot. Sinclair, who is tied for 8th in the SC in bases on balls with 68, was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The win was credited to 19-year old right-handed pitcher Eddie Carver in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Jim Unknown took the loss. The Sunchasers raised their record to 44-52.
In the bottom of the eighth, the Sunchasers grabbed the lead when Sinclair hit his 17th double of the season. The 2-run double off Jim Unknown made it 7-5, Sunrise Manor.
"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Sunrise Manor manager Shawn Banks.
