The Buckeye Local Panthers defeated the Riverside Wolverines, 4-2, in part because of third baseman Jason Allen. Allen was 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Panthers. The winner in relief was Jonas Hernandez. He is now 4-2. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. Getting the save was Alberto Quijada, his 2nd.
