Buckeye Local Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Buckeye Local Panthers topped the Riverside Wolverines, 6-4, with third baseman Jason Allen playing a big role. Allen went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Panthers in the win. Buckeye Local, with the win, climbs to 26-68.
Buckeye Local got a clutch hit from Alejandro Valiente. The shortstop launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"This ballpark was lit," Allen said.
