Juneau Gets 5-3 Win
Juneau beat Riverside on the strength of starting pitcher Manny Martinez's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Steve Delle Chiaie, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. Lorenzo Guerrero earned save number 15 this season.

Juneau used a clutch hit from Ryan Hardeman to get the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sled Dogs ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"Manny was pounding the zone," said Juneau manager Jordan Nolasco.

The first-place Sled Dogs have won 4 consecutive games.
