The Riverside Wolverines weathered a fine game by Sunrise Manor right fielder Jerry O'Dell to upend the Sunchasers, 6-3, at Wolverines Ballpark. O'Dell went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jonathan Miron, the winner, is now 3-2. He struck out 3 and walked 0 over 7 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. The win puts Riverside at 36-52.

Riverside took a 5-3 lead on Marc Laur's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Laur hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Sunrise Manor pitcher Eddie Mojica visibly frustrated.
