The Crystal Lake Killers defeated the Chuluota Imperials by the score of 8-7, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Jon Blanco. Blanco belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Killers on the day. D.J. Nelson got the save, his 7th in 9 chances. Crystal Lake goes to 57-32. The win puts them 12 games up in their division.

With Crystal Lake leading 3-0 in the top of the fifth, Blanco hit a fastball from Edwin Rael for a grand slam home run. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Killers ahead, 7-0.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Blanco.
