Wolverines Suffer 6-4 Setback
The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes had to overcome a fine effort from Riverside pitcher Brian Millet to win, 6-4, at Wolverines Ballpark. Millet went 8.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. The Southern Conference East Division-leading Earthquakes are 74-15.

Ft. Wayne used a timely hit from Micah Squires to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Earthquakes ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Squires.
