Earthquakes Tear Continues with 6-5 Triumph
In a tight contest at Earthquakes Stadium, the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes edged the Juneau Sled Dogs by the score of 6-5. Ft. Wayne catcher Curt Koerner, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. The 71-16 Earthquakes have won 16 games in a row.

Jose Valdez hit a 2-run double off Juan Perez in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Earthquakes in front, 6-5. In addition to the double, Valdez had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"Guys seem to be putting together some really nice at-bats right now," said Earthquakes manager Du-sung Moon.
