Chuluota center fielder Steve Hicks made his presence felt in the 8-6 Imperials triumph over the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers. Hicks hit 2 home runs. The win went to Edgar Cuevas in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Luis Orosco took the loss. The save was Pedro Mendez's, his 3rd.

Chuluota used a clutch at-bat from Mario Lopez to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Imperials ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Imperials manager Larry Voltaire.
