The 2025 season is getting uglier for Sunrise Manor.
The Haviland Thrashers topped the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 9-3, at Ballpark of Haviland. Haviland left fielder Carlos Castro was a spark plug for the offense. He went 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Haviland starter Jamie Stuhr was credited with the win after throwing 107 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 2-0.
Josh Taylor hit a 2-run double off Jose Olvera in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Thrashers in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Taylor had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
Afterward, Sunrise Manor manager said: "We've hit a rough patch."
