Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Riverside Wolverines and Haviland Thrashers.

Jason Thompson had a strong outing for the Riverside Wolverines against the Haviland Thrashers at Wolverines Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. With the win, Riverside upped its record to 52-27.

Jesus Rodriquez hit a 2-run home run off Andy Kemmis in the bottom of the third, which put the Wolverines ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, Rodriquez had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
