The Picture Rocks Raptors withstood an impressive performance by Corpus Christi center fielder Matt Strader to defeat the Texans, 8-6, at Ballpark of Picture Rocks. Strader slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Jim Unknown earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings.
