Earthquakes Walk It Off for 64th Win of Season
Ft. Wayne starter Rick Hall pitched well against the Buckeye Local Panthers at Earthquakes Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4. Ft. Wayne reliever Ian McCullar was the winner. His record is now 3-3. The losing pitcher was Danny Lozado. The Earthquakes have now won 9 straight.

The decisive blow was delivered by Curt Koerner in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 17-year old right-handed pitcher Danny Lozado to win the game for Ft. Wayne. The home crowd went nuts.
