The Chuluota Imperials beat the Haviland Thrashers in a game featuring much hitting but not much pitching. The final score was 14-12, Imperials. One of the hitting stars was shortstop Fei-hsien Liu. Liu, who is tied for 2nd in the SC in bases on balls with 70, slugged 3 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 5. Loeck Krijgsman closed it out for his 2nd save. Chuluota occupies 4th place in the Southern Conference East Division at 39-41.

Chuluota used a big swing from Tom Ramos to get the win. The first baseman walloped a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Imperials up, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.

"Winning never gets dull," said Ramos.
