Nelson Stars in 9-2 Earthquakes Win
The 9-2 Ft. Wayne win over Jacksonville was due in large part to Troy Nelson. The Earthquakes shortstop went 4-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Marcus Cornock earned the win for Ft. Wayne. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 2-0.
