Sunchasers Squelch Thrashers Offense in Shutout Win
The Sunrise Manor Sunchasers took Haviland pitcher Bobby Pfau's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Field of the Sunchasers. The final score had Sunrise Manor getting past the Thrashers, 3-0. Pfau went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 8. At 47-32, Sunrise Manor is in third place in the Southern Conference East Division.

Rich Kotlar took Haviland hurler Danny Vollmer deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 3-run home run put the Sunchasers on top, 3-0. In all, Kotlar had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Kotlar said.
