Victors Again, Crystal Lake Win Streak at 9

Another day, another victory for the red-hot Crystal Lake Killers.
Billy Kaufman, who is tied for 3rd in the SC in wins with 7, propelled his team to victory over the Corpus Christi Texans. The final score was 5-3, Crystal Lake. Kaufman yielded no runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 1 hit, walked 2, and struck out 2. His record improves to 7-3. Brian Kyzar earned the save, his 1st.
Ross Howard, the Crystal Lake first baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to make the score 4-0, Killers. For the game, Howard went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.
