Sled Dogs 5-2 Victors Over San Antonio

The San Antonio Griffins could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Cody Ahern into a win. Instead, the Juneau Sled Dogs prevailed, 5-2. Ahern threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Juneau reliever Dane Baker picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jorge Garcia absorbed the loss. The win has Juneau at 30-46.
The Sled Dogs got a gift in the bottom of the seventh inning, when they were leading 3-2. With two out and the bases loaded, Greg Fleming reached on an error by the C, driving in 2 runs. It made the score 5-2, Juneau.
Said losing manager James Beatty: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
